Lynn Fries, 58, died Thursday, March 6, 2003.
   A native of Morristown, N.J., she was an accounts payable  clerk for a publishing company. She was a volunteer for the American Kidney Fund and several animal support groups.
   Services will be announced by the family at a later date.
   Survivors include a sister, Nancy Barrett, Athens; a brother, Richard Fries, Lothian, Md.; and nieces and nephews.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, 1260 Baxter St., Athens, GA 30606 or to the charity of your choice.
   Bill Head Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
